Hotel Victoria Lyon Perrache Confluence

The staff at Victoria were excellent and extremely helpful. I had a problem figuring out how to meet up with friends in a village one hour's drive north of Lyon. A car was unfeasible and the train the only way to go. They looked at the routes for me and we chose the most direct one for someone with luggage. I could not have done this without them. The hotel is brilliantly located for access to the square nearby with lots of restaurants and cafes. One of the main railway stations is also just up the road.

Hotel was exceptionally clean. Bed was very comfortable and a short walk to old Lyon . Staff was super friendly. Other reviews comments on the size of the rooms but truthfully for the price they are just excellent value. Not much smaller than anything I had in Paris for three times the price. Yes, the bathroom is small but it is quite functional and we didn't have a problem with its size at all. There is parking nearby for 20 euros per night or free parking on the street from 7:00 p.m. until 9:00 a.m. Parking in the area on the street after 9:00 a.m. is €60 per day.

The room was small, perfectly adequate, just a little small. I loved the utter efficiency of the room - everything was there, the shower while very small, fit perfectly - the shower curtain didn't touch me - there was enough room! The breakfast offering was INCREDIBLE! Beautifully and efficiently set up, and then well-maintained by an attentive person who kept all offerings fresh and full, and cleared tables in a second to have room for the next guests. The desk personnel both morning and evening were kind, helpful and patient. We were made to feel welcome, as were all other guests. My compliments on an establishment well-run! Bien merci! Perfectly located hotel. Few minutes walk to the Perrache train & bus station. From there lovely walk to the Bellecour place shopping and restaurants. Nice and varied breakfast. Reception team is very friendly and accommodating. Charming interior and design elements with the train station inspiration. Thank you for storing my luggage while I was walking The Chemin.

Greeted by beautiful staff member, Loris set the tone for a terrific evening. He gave us excellent info on getting around town and couldn’t be more helpful. The bed was super comfy and even though it was the tiniest bathroom ever, the room was great. Breakfast was nice with many choices. The coffee machine was ok
